Perform at journeyman millwright level and as a knowledgeable helper in all other recognized primary crafts which are pipefitter, machinist, certified welder, auto/diesel mechanic, and electronics to maintain mill equipment in good and safe operating conditions. Successful candidates must be self-motivated, safety conscious and able to work as a team with both maintenance and production employees.

+ Must be able to read diagrams and schematic drawings and service manuals to determined work procedures.

+ Operate rigging equipment to pick and place machinery and parts.

+ Service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

+ Must possess or be willing and capable of learning and utilizing secondary maintenance skills such as pipefitting, machinist etc..

+ Experience with equipment associated with a pulp and paperboard operations such as pumps, laser alignment, gearboxes, bearings, motors, etc.

+ Willing and able to use all skills in a true teamwork environment in order to safely accomplish work with minimal supervision.

Required education and related experience:

+ Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

+ Minimum 2 years of demonstrated mechanical or industrial experience or 2 years of related education in lieu of experience.

+ High-speed industrial maintenance experience preferred.
